He is the Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) which is the world’s second largest exchange in cash market trades and one of the top three exchanges in index and stock derivatives volumes.
Prior to joining NSE, he was the Managing Director & CEO of IDFC Limited, a diversified financial services conglomerate. He started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai in 1987 while pursuing his Chartered Accountancy and worked in the audit and business advisory services groups of Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and the consumer banking group of Citibank before going to the US in 1994 to pursue a MBA. After completing his MBA, he worked on Wall Street in USA for 8 years with Credit Suisse First Boston in a variety of roles in investment banking, capital markets, structured finance and credit portfolio management before returning to Mumbai, India in 2004.
He has contributed to various committees of government and industry associations on a range of topics surrounding infrastructure, economic policy, markets, trade, minority affairs etc. He has been a speaker at various domestic and international conferences and has been part of international government delegations for infrastructure and foreign direct investments into India. He has also been on the boards of various corporates, educational institutions and not for profit organisations.

Deep is the Founder, Group Chairman and Group CEO of India’s leading online travel company, MakeMyTrip Ltd. Launched in India in 2005, MakeMyTrip is today one of the largest e-commerce business in the country. Deep steered MakeMyTrip as CEO since its inception in 2000, to a successful listing on NASDAQ in August 2010. He took on the role of Group CEO in August 2013, to focus on Strategy, M&A and international businesses. He continues to lead the Group’s strategic development and overall execution excellence.
Deep served as the President of TiE Delhi Chapter from 2013 to 2016 and continues to serve as an active board member. He is the Vice Chairman of IAMAI and a member of Nasscom’s Internet Council. Deep is also closely involved with leading industry bodies like CII and FICCI as part of their Travel & Tourism sub-committees. He is one of the founders of Ashoka University and serves on their governing body. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture with MakeMyTrip, Deep has had corporate stints with GE Capital, AMF Bowling Inc. and ABN AMRO Bank. He holds an MBA degree from IIM, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. His interests include swimming, yoga, adventure sports quizzing and travelling.

Abhishek Lodha has been associated with the Lodha Group for the last fourteen years, and currently serves as Managing Director of the company. Prior to this, he worked on advising Fortune 500 Companies to Business Strategy as a consultant with McKinsey & Company (in Atlanta, USA).
Abhishek Lodha has been instrumental in establishing a company that exceeds the expectations of the customer and builds a better life for them. Shailender Kumar is Managing Director for Oracle India. In this role, Mr. Kumar’s primary responsibility is to grow Oracle’s business in India, increase Oracle’s market share across all product lines and solutions, ensure customer satisfaction and drive Oracle’s citizenship initiatives in the country. As Managing Director, Mr. Kumar manages an entire team of experienced sales and sales consulting professionals from all lines of business including Technology, Applications, Middleware and Systems; focusing on delivering Oracle’s solutions to its 7000+ customers in India. Under Oracle’s renewed strategy, Mr. Kumar will also oversee new businesses such as the public sector unit, geo-expansion business unit (expansion into tier 2, tier 3 markets), Key Accounts Programs and the cloud business.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Kumar was Group Vice President, Key Accounts Program and led this business into one of Oracle India’s most successful programs. Under his leadership, the Key Accounts team became a significant contributor to Oracle India’s overall revenue and a critical asset to Oracle India’s growth strategy. He also successfully orchestrated a tightly integrated working model between the Line of Business leaders and Key Account Directors which resulted in high-profile transformational business for Oracle India. Previously, Mr. Kumar served as Vice President for Oracle India’s Middleware business.
Before joining Oracle, Mr. Kumar was Managing Director at Quest Software and BEA Systems India Private Limited. In previous assignments, he has held senior positions at Microsoft India and IBM India. Mr. Kumar started his career with CMC Limited.
Shailender holds a post-graduate degree in Business Management from the Institute of Management Technology and has received his engineering degree from the Institute of Engineers.
